While on my way down to the Keys, I had the unfortunate experience of losing my powertrain/transmission on I-75 near Fort Myers. I limped to a nearby gas station. I called AAA. AAA called Coastal Towing to my location to save the day and to save the weekend trip! I met a wonderful man, Cleve, who arrived with a cheerful spirit to assist me. His spirit brightened my day! He took great care loading of my truck and drove us back up to Clearwater, my hometown, for extensive repairs. We had a wonderful conversation, and the time flew by despite some traffic. Cleve took great care of unloading and making sure my Ford dealership took great care of me! Thank you, Coastal Towing! Thank you, Cleve! I highly recommend Coastal Towing!

I'd like to thank Chris for turning our 15 minute wait into over an hour and then cancelling on us to take a different call and not at least tell us. This was also after he passed us because he didn't realize that cars can be on either side of the road, even though we told him over the phone which side of the road we were on before he even began heading toward our location.

AAA sent a gentleman out from Coastal to replace our batteries in our truck. Unfortunately, they only had one of our giant batteries on their truck and we needed two. They went out of their way to send another technician out with the two batteries so that we would be able to leave for our vacation on time. They were wonderful!

I had an issue with my car computer not allowing the vehicle to start which required it being towed by Coastal Towing to a local area garage. It was a very busy day, yet Ira was most kind in keeping in contact with me regarding his pending arrival. He was also the most professional tow truck driver with whom I have dealt in decades. Most importantly, he was a very safe and courteous driver considering the traffic on 41. Ira is certainly a top notch representative and public servant for this business, and I recommend Coastal Towing highly.

The person that I had for the service I needed was very polite. He called me when he was on his way. Then when he arrived he introduced himself and let me know all I needed to do was hand him my keys and everything else was taken care of. Once again thank you and great 🧘♂️ service.

Coastal Towing Company- Highly Recommend:Sadly, my car would not start yesterday morning. Dan from Coastal Towing came to the rescue. He was professional, careful with my car, very pleasant, and made the painful-process (of watching my car being carted off) a much less painful one. I highly recommend this company.

On 1/30/23 I called AAA Auto Club for roadside assistance at 2:34 p.m. They gave the request to Coastal Towing. After waiting over an hour I called Coastal directly. They said it might be another hour wait. At 4:30 I called again. At 5:20 I was told the truck was five minutes away. At 5:50 I called again - no answer. At 7:00 a friend came to my rescue and towed my vehicle.So Coastal Towing had the request for at least FOUR HOURS and still "no show". It would appear they do not give AAA member requests priority.

Waited over 4 hours for a tire change. They never showed. The final conversation I had with dispatch was that they were 9.2 miles away. Another hour went by and they never showed up. I ended up using a different company. Empty promises by a smarmy tough guy attitude from dispatch. Terrible experience.

Let us wait with no call back for over an hour and a half. Their phone didn't answer when We called. We were stuck at the airport. We rented a car and went back to the airport in the morning. This is the first time we had to input. Terrible, no, worse than terrible service.

Needed a flooded vehicle moved from hurricane Ian. Called and got same day service (a couple of hours from the time I called), while other towing companies were giving a week or longer lead times. John was helpful, the lady who took my info was friendly, and Andy the driver was a true professional. Excellent service all around.

Yesterday my car overheated on Daniels @ Treeline - at 7:30AM (those who know there area will know just how bad this could been). My call to AAA was assigned to Coastal Towing. Mitch arrived earlier than expected, got the car on the truck and got me to my repair service in short work. Mitch was professional, pleasant, and obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. My thanks to Mitch, Coastal Towing and AAA.

So, I contacted AAA at 9:40 a.m. today. Within 10 minutes I was informed Coastal Towing would be there by 11:46. That's longer than expected, but I waited. That time came and went. I then called them directly to find out where my tow was. I was told that my driver was in Venice ( I was in Englewood, the next city over). I was informed he would be there shortly and I was next. I waited and waited. I called back and got disconnected 3 times. I was NEVER rude. I just sincerely wanted to know what was going on. I then received an update saying the tow would be there by 2:00 p.m. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I got someone different to tow it and they were there within 15 minutes!!!! My whole day off was wasted by these inconsiderate people. Shame on you Coastal Towing. You truly couldn't do any worse!!!

DJ was awesome! AAA said they were expecting higher than normal calls and told me it would take a couple hours for a tow. DJ called me sooner then expected and let me know he was on the way. At 8pm on a Friday the last thing I needed was a broken car hassle. DJ showed up and pretty much said he would take care of it. He coordinated getting it over to the repair shop and dropped off the keys. Great customer service even when they are busy!

Never showed up for tow contracted through AAA. Claimed AAA canceled it. Service was requested to AAA at 5:50 am. I was told Coastal would be there within an hour and half. After 7:30 I got an update that they were finishing up a call and would be there to get my car shortly. It is now 10:43 and my car is still not towed. I am a premier member with AAA and a member since 1986. I have NEVER had a service call show up even remotely on time!!! This one, however, beats them all! Don't use AAA and if you do and they tell you Coastal Towing will be coming, don't hold your breath!!!

Called AAA while here in FL...visiting from NC...battery issue. My car needed to be towed. James Sager was the driver of the tow truck from Coastal Towing. The truck arrived earlier than expected, James was efficient, respectful, kind and got the job done. VERY pleased with this service...and kudos to James! Thank you!

I contacted AAA due to running over road debris and blowing out my 2 passenger side tires. Thank goodness I was very close to home. This was my first time using AAA (I've been a member since 2012). Needless to say AAA is a MESS. But thank God for Coastal Towing and Tyler. He called and said he was on his way (after his extremely long night towing others) and he arrived early on Saturday morning. Tyler was wonderful! Professional, respectful, and took care of loading my Jeep on his truck. Drove me over to Tire Kingdom and unloaded me Jeep while I checked in. Tyler was kind, pleasant, and truly understanding. For those of you that are rude to tow truck drivers, shame on you! These guys work very long hours and are up most of the night assisting others. Thank you Coastal Towing for being the go-to for AAA members. As a female- I felt safe and secure with Tyler; and not all the time can you say that. Tyler- thanks for coming to my rescue! Your the BEST!!!!!!!

Called AAA and they dispatched coastal towing to show up for dead battery. 2 hours later and still have not seen anyone, guess I'll try again with AAA. No call No show!! -1 stars. Oh I should say 2 hours AFTER the eta of 2:52 pm so WOW.

Melted my wiring!My wife called for roadside assistance through AAA. Coastal towing came out to jump start her truck. The guy said her battery wasnt showing full charge. The guy had it started once but couldn't get it to restart. He installed a brand new battery and was in the fuse panel under the hood. My wife witnessed white smoke from under the hood but didn't realize what happened. The guy couldnt get the truck to restart so they towed it to the mechanic. This was in Nov. My wife had no vehicle for 6 weeks while the mechanic tried to troubleshoot problems. He said it acted like computer was bad. He found melted wires to fuse box, but still wouldn't start.I told him about the smoke from when it was jumped. He went into wiring harness and found several ground wires melted together. He said that could only happen if wires are crossed.I made a complaint in Nov to AAA and just received call back mid Feb. I never received a call from coastal and they denied any wrong doing.Their mistake cost me $600. and no vehicle for 6 weeks and denied any fault.Don't trust Coastal Towing!!!

My parents' car broke down, and after wasting 9.5 hours waiting for AAA to send someone with a flatbed, they finally hung up and called Coastal Towing, who showed up in under 20 minutes. DJ, Brandy and Tyler all went above and beyond to help my parents tow their car from Port Charlotte to Sarasota for repairs. Everyone was super kind, professional and efficient. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!

I called AAA to get a tow secondary to my alternator going out. Steve from Coastal Towing contacted me prior to his arrival and was very nice & professional. Towed my car to my requested location and helped us push it into the driveway. If I ever need a tow in the future, I will be sure to request Steve from Coastal Towing!

Don't call these people...they lied to us and told us they had tow drivers with nothing to do....after I arranged a tow for my vehicle and heard nothing (from them or their driver ) for 2+hours they said not to worry the driver was enroute... 4hrs later and no show/no call....beware when they can't tell you an e.t.a for their service...they don't even bother to answer their phone most of the time

I had contacted AAA for tow service as my car was not recognizing my key fob, and wouldn't start. I was all set to tow it the 20 miles to the Nissan dealer in Venice. Steven showed up and immediately diagnosed I needed a new battery. He was able to sell me one on the spot, which he also installed, and removed old battery. Cost was very competitive. He also added air to my tires per my request. Steven is a very personable, knowledgeable tech. The tow alone would have just about equalled the cost of the battery. I highly recommend Steven and Coastal Towing.

Steven showed up within 30 minutes (AAA told me it would be 90 minutes) and he got my car started and put a new battery in immediately. My new battery was fair priced too! I would highly recommend this towing service.

Service received from Brad was amazing . I called because initially that it was the battery but it ended up being the alternator. Coastal Towing responded in a timely manner and was able to tow my vehicle to my home. I also used them the next day to tow my vehicle to the shop for repair. Customer Services Dispatch was also great. I will definitely use them again.

I was in a bind when my car limped into my driveway, on a Sunday afternoon. Within 30 minutes, Coastal Towing was at my front door. The young man who arrived was professional and courteous. Within 10 minutes my car was loaded onto the tow truck and headed to the repair shop. I cannot recommend their services enough!

It's nice to encounter a person who is nice and curious, especially when under stress. Robin rescued my husband, myself, and our three children (in partnership with AAA) when our van broke down and stranded us 60 miles north of home, late at night, in unseasonably cold weather. He was professional, very friendly, and determined that we would not be stuck at a 7-11 for the night. We felt that we and our van were in very good hands with this company, and we would frankly have not gotten home without him. Would highly recommend.

Just wanted to share a very positive experience. My car was stuck in park at a store parking lot. Unfortunately I had an uber driver coming to take me to the airport to catch a flight in an hour. I called 3 different tow companies in cape coral(where I was) to tow to my house. All 3 said not till Mon. I don't have AAA but called to see if someone could help. Coastal Towing not only towed my car within the HR but did everything over the phone so I could make my flight. Very professional and charged a reasonable price for a non AAA member. Thank you

When my car wouldn't start this morning, the service that I received from Coastal Towing was EXEMPLARY. Steve arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, physically pushed out of the parking space so he could access the hood, got the car started and went above and beyond offering to follow me to the dealership for the required service. He was friendly, super courteous and professional. I can't say enough nice things about my experience today. I would really like to give him TEN stars!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

My mini-coup conked out in the middle of a busy intersection in south Ft Myers. I called a few tow companies that connected me to voicemail. Nothing worse than to hear that when you're in a desperate situation! Coastal was the only local company that answered their phone. The woman dispatcher couldn't have been any more nicer. The driver Steve arrived in about 10 minutes. Steve was very professional and a nice conversationalist. He gave me some very good advice about getting AAA.!

Just used these guys for an AAA 50 mile tow . Driver was Excellent . Ovi went over and above to help me out . Car would not move on its own so he put in a little extra effort to position it in place . Didn't have to do it , not part of the AAA service, but he was happy to help . Couldn't be happier .

Please do not use this company! We did have excellent service with our tow and figured we would give them a shot taking care of our vehicles issues but unfortunately that was a mistake. They initially quote great prices and fast service but neither of the two actually happened. This is a second rate AT BEST service shop that looks like it should be condemned and we were lied to 4 separate times. The owner and manager do not care about there clients but simply getting paid which unfortunately I did prior to examining to my car which had the same issues it came in with. There are MANY other details I could list as to why we will never spend another dime at this "shop" but i will be polite and simply advise against ever using their services.

Coastal Towing came when my car wouldn't start. It turned out to be a dead battery. They replaced the battery immediately. Their employee Robin arrived sooner than I expected. I cannot say enough GOOD about this business. Was referred to them by Towing service when my son's car was broken down on road. From there they fixed his car...very fair and honest! The following week, I had a screw in my tire. They were able to get my car in right away, and again..very honest and the best price I have EVER experienced for this service in Ft. MYERS! I WILL ONLY GO TO Coastal Auto from now on. Thank you guys!

I just watched one ir driver's literally drop a lady's car on the ground. His bed was literally at least a foot off the ground. He didnt have the car strapped but on one wheel n the car was wiggling all over the place. He also dug up their yard. I have a video of him do un ng this. I will never call coastal withhow careless this man was

Called Coastal Towing this morning needing a boat moved that was on a non functional trailer. Karrie answered the phone and was able to answer all my questions. Set up a time within 2 hours of me calling to have one of their trucks come hook up the boat, they arrived almost half an hour early.Chip was the driver who came and was very professional and friendly.Got the boat hooked up and delivered without any problem!All around great experience! They came highly recommended and now I see why!Not to mention they were nearly 150$ cheaper than anyone else I called! Thanks again guys! You will be the first I call for any towing needs in the future!Job well done! ??

I had a sudden incident on the side of the road in the HOT summer heat and this towing company saved me. Being located over 40 minutes from my location, they arrived there extremely fast. DJ went above and beyond in saving me, literally. Super friendly, super helpful, just overall an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend them to a friend. And to DJ, thank you SO much!!!

UPDATE: Just used them again on 6/17/19. Absolutely fantastic service. Quick, professional and friendly. I LOVE Coastal Towing. Great experience getting a car towed from Englewood to Ft. Myers. The driver (Dave...I believe) was friendly and professional. Would definitely use again!

I had to do another review because it would not let me writes comment they have towed my car a few times and the last 2 times I got the same guy and in my hurry I did not ask his name but the service is always excellent he is very friendly and nice I recommend this towing service to EVERYBODY U WON'T BE STIRRED WRONG.ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!

The lady was incredible, friendly and generally concerned about my safety, driver Steve was a sweetie but being a Jersey girl i love New Yorker's. Would highly recommended this company for towing needs. Don't have too much to say about AAA Auto club they're not the company they use to be

I had triple AAA come to my work to put on a spare tire for me. The man (Chris) at triple AAA simply looked at my car and said your bolts are too tight you're going to have to have it towed. When coastal towing showed up, I explained what had happened to Ovi. He looked at the flat tire and was able to take it off with ease and replace it with the spare. I had never asked him to do this, this was all an act of generosity and good customer service even though he knew he was not getting paid for the tow. Ovi looked at some other things on my car and gave me advice as far as maintenance goes. I really appreciated the kindness and hard work that Ovi provided for me today when triple AAA failed to do so. Ovi deserves a raise!!!!

AAA assigned this company to service my call to assist me with bringing a new battery to residence as my battery was completely dead. Instead of bringing a battery they came to give me a jump they drove from N Charlotte to Fort Myers so they can get paid meanwhile the Mechanic mentioned to me that they do not have Mercedes batteries in Stock so he knew he was not going to assist me with my call. This happened last Friday, Saturday morning I called again AAA I told them what happened and requested specifically a tow to Advance Auto Parts less than 2 miles from where the car was ( I ordered the battery on line ) they sent a car not a tow truck and the guy wanted to give me a battery boost AGAIN . I was very upset he called the office in front of me , no apology no offer to rectify the problem . The technician left with out even touching my car and charged AAA again. I tried again Sunday they sent a tow truck and the driver turned around and left when he heard what happened the day before , refusing to give me a tow. Absolute lack of customer service and obviously dishonest by fraudulently charging AAA for services not rendered. Meanwhile i ran out of services request so I had to pay for my tow Monday. The ordeal started Friday. DO not use this company. Use Jaimes Towing & Recovery, Inc. they are the opposite of this scamming company. Coastal Towing is scary stay away.

Coastal Towing did an excellent job for me and my stepson. They responded to a AAA call and were on site in less than 15 minutes. Stephen put the car right where I needed it, even though he was a bit concerned about getting into the location. His willingness to take that chance made life very easy for me. I highly recommend Steven and Coastal Towing and I am greatly appreciative of the amazing service. Thank you!

Steve went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I got a flat tire and had to leave the vehicle a few miles from my hotel. Steve picked up my replacement vehicle, picked me up, and then took me to where I had left the vehicle with the flat tire. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Steve from coastal was amazing! He arrived so quickly. He was super professional and friendly. He made me feel at ease from start to finish. He got my car out of the driveway and hooked up to the tow truck and only two minutes. He came on a Saturday night and was gracious about the whole thing. Thank you so much! All I can say is WOW, I’m so impressed with the customer service and compassionate heart my driver, Ovi, provided me with throughout this experience. He was patient, kind, and a very active listener. He allowed me to vent (seeing as I was extremely upset) without saying a word and replying with advice. This accident was the last thing I needed to happen to me this week but the entire drive to the shop he made me feel comfortable, safe, and secure that my car and everything else in my life would be okay. He provided me with valuable life tips and gave me some of the best advice in regards to my situation and my future. I will definitely recommend Coastal Towing. OVI, thank you for today’s service!! I have to say Steve was the most professional and efficient tow experience I have ever had! Chivalry was his mission don’t to opening the door for me to get in AND out of the truck. I was given a heads up when he would arrive and he had me home in no time. COASTAL YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC EMPLOYEE - I applaud you for requiring this level of service from your drivers.

I wish to express my deep appreciation for the wonderful,kind and professional Customer Service I received from Anthony. He called before he arrived and I amOlder with a walker and he took my keys at my door and did the battery test andThen was kind enough to take my battery charger and extension cord to let itCharge up since it did not read bad. At noon I called to see about a replacementFrom AAA service and I got Anthony again and he re tested the battery and it hada bad cell, he pro rated the warranty and I happily have a new battery with theTest results. Anthony wrapped up the extension cord and charger and placed them Back in my home and I never had to leave my power lifter recliner. I called and spoke with Carri to set up a tow, which can be stressful and also leave an uneasy feeling in leaving your car in someone else’s hands. Carri was SO polite, outlined everything, was clear and gave me lots of details on what happens/the process! You can track move by move of your tow driver to know exactly where your car is via phone! The driver also called me to ensure he was en route and to check in. Carri gets 10/10 stars and I would recommend this company to others and use them again

I locked myself out of my car today and while waiting a while for AAA, Ovi was driving by and stopped to see if I was okay. I told him why I was waiting for AAA and he pulled his truck over and unlocked my car for me! He was very kind and helpful. I would give 10 stars for Ovi and the company he works for if I could!

The Racetrack on MLK in Fort myers, fl. I pumped my gas and when I was done I went to start my car and my battery was dead. I seen their truck parked on the side and had my husband ask if he could give us a jump while I stayed in my car with my 3 kids. He said he would have to charge us to jump us. I thought maybe he was a good Samaritan but obviously he was about money and I didn't know tow trucks charged to jump people off.

Today would have been the 30th anniversary between my Husband and I had he not died 13 November 2017, I am relearning how to drive and had to go to a bad area of town, far away from my home to apply for food stamps. My car died, the office was closed for lunch, my Daughter was in the E.R. and battery on phone low. Steven Fox came to my rescue via AAA and was amazing!!! His truck was clean, he had the utmost of respect and understanding and though I do not like driving in cars or trucks his driving was as safe as can be. Thank you!! He made a very bad day and a person with a major anxiety disorder believe there is hope for our world as he is making it a better place

Ovi was my driver and just the kind person I needed to help me out. He towed my car, made sure I was okay and maintained contact with my insurance. My car died out on me in Ft. Myers while on my way back home to Naples. Called AAA & Coastal Towing came .I definitely recommend Coastal Towing & especially their driver Ovi. He came earlier than the time that they told me & handled my car with care. He took my car & myself back to Naples from Ft. Myers. This past weekend our car broke down and we called AAA for a tow. The driver who assisted us, Ovi, was wonderful. He arrived within the time AAA estimated, called me as he was getting close, and was helpful and friendly. He took great care of us and was a pleasure to deal with.
